Yes you my friend, are the King/Queen of your own life. Your life is your Kingdom and you are its Ruler for eternity. All the risks you take, all the decisions you make...will frame your Kingdom. Sometimes you'll destroy it, but it's your responsibility to give your Kingdom back its Pride. It doesn't matter if you failed, it doesn't matter if you think it's all over...no one else is gonna do it for you. It's your duty to stand up and start over if needed because it's your life and you are the one to decide its level of awesomeness!
Learn from your past mistakes but don't let it stop you from taking risks in future because you never know when you are in for a treat. How can you be so sure that the same will happen again?
Just trust yourself and do what your heart tells you. Your Kingdom needs you, it needs the confident You and not the You full of fear and doubts. Life is unpredictable and you can't be sure that only good things will happen because that's really not practical, you gotta face both the sides of the coin. But always be confident that no matter what the situation is, no matter how helpless life seems...you'll not break.
Believe in yourself because you can, you should, and if you're brave enough to start, you will.
